Quest Diagnostics is seeking an experienced, quality and service oriented, and dynamic Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist.  This is a solo practice position in a 160 bed successful independent community hospital.  The anatomic pathology responsibilities include sign-out of surgical pathology/oncology cases, which encompass a wide mix of specialties, including breast, head and neck, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, gynecologic, pulmonary, and limited number of soft tissue and hematopathology (bone marrows and lymph nodes) cases.  An average of three frozen sections is performed per day, and the majority are breast cases. A reliable support system is available for referral of challenging cases to an experienced Quest Diagnostics or AmeriPath pathology group, or out Joint Venture academic institution, UPMC.  The anatomic pathology responsibilities entail biweekly tumor-board participation, monthly transfusion committee meeting, which provides the opportunity to interact with a group of physicians of various specialties in a tightly knit community.  The successful candidate will serve as the CLIA laboratory director of the hospital laboratory, and as such, will ensure maintaining the Laboratory in compliance with all applicable requirements of federal, state and local laws and regulations. The clinical laboratory is medium-sized, well equipped, and provides clinical chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology services.  Responsibilities includereview of laboratory standard operating procedures, providing oversight on various quality aspects (including review of Quality Control and Proficiency Testing data), interacting with the laboratory operation and hospital leadership teams, providing consultation for the hospital and clinical staff for test results interpretation and feedback gathering, as well as interacting with regulatory and government agencies as required.  Participation in quality assurance meetings will be expected, and will provide an opportunity to interact and collaborate with the hospital leadership on patient safety initiatives and blood bank.  Support for various scientific, quality, and operational aspects of laboratory management is available through the Quest Diagnostic network. Required  Pennsylvania medical license required.  Successful candidate will be credentialed by Uniontown Hospital. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
